Hi, I'm Louise -
the founder of Tails with Love

This journey began with the heartbreaking loss of our family dog, Rolo. He was more than a pet - he was a best friend, a comfort through hard times, and a constant source of love and loyalty. When he passed, I searched for a way to keep a part of him close, but nothing felt quite right. So, I decided to create it myself.

Tails with Love was born from that love and loss - a way to honour our pets not just in memory, but in something we can hold, wear and carry with us every day.

Every piece is handmade with care here in the UK using a small amount of your pet’s ashes or fur, and every order is treated with the same respect and sensitivity I wished for when we lost Rolo.

You may choose the resin color and metal finishes for most pieces

Yes it’s completely safe. We send you a secure collection kit with labelled bags and full instructions. Your materials are handled with care and respect at every stage, and any unused ashes or fur are safely returned with your finished keepsake.

Can I use both ashes and fur together?

Absolutely. Many people choose to include both ashes and fur for a truly personal keepsake. Just mention this when sending your kit back we’ll make sure they’re beautifully combined.

What if I have special requests?

We’d love to make your keepsake exactly how you want it. Simply add your request when ordering or include a note in your kit. Our team will confirm what’s possible and keep in touch before we begin.

Can I use fur instead of ashes—and can I make jewellery while my pet is still alive?

Yes. You can choose fur instead of ashes, and keepsakes can also be created using fur from living pets—a meaningful way to celebrate your pet while they're still with you.

How long does it take to receive my jewellery, and can I get it faster?

Once your ashes or fur arrive, the piece is handcrafted and shipped within 2–4 weeks. If you need it sooner, you can contact them before ordering to discuss faster options.

How do I send my pet’s ashes or fur?

Once you’ve placed your order, Tails With Love will send you a secure collection kit containing full instructions and pre‑addressed return packaging. This ensures a safe, discreet, and respectful way to send your pet’s ashes or fur back to them for crafting.

How can I contact Tails With Love if I have questions?

How much do you need?

We only need a tiny amount around ½ teaspoon of ashes or a small pinch of fur (about the size of a coin). Don’t worry if you send more; we’ll return any unused portion safely.

Each piece is handmade to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks from the time we receive your materials. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way until your keepsake is on its way home.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

An order confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered on your order shortly after being placed. Please check your junk or spam folder if it does not arrive in your inbox. We ask that you check your order information closely and contact us right away if there is anything you would like to change.

Can I make a change to my order?

As long as your order has not entered production, our customer service team would be happy to help you make any necessary changes. If you do need to change anything on your order, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible and before your ashes or fur are returned to ensure we are able to do so.

How long do I have to provide the Ashes?

We kindly ask that you return the Ashes Collection Pack within 7 days of receiving it. This helps us manage our process smoothly and ensures we can care for each family’s needs in a timely way. That said, we completely understand that this can be a difficult time, and sometimes returning the ashes might take a little longer. Please don’t worry — if you need more time, we’re more than happy to offer a flexible extension of up to 6 weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, or if there’s anything we can do to make things easier, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
